So Fresh And So Clean Clean

In my efforts to revamp the site into something a bit more coherent, I've started off with this simple Blogger sample template. I'll be sure to update the look later as more content is re-introduced to the site.

What is the purpose of InkTank now?

Well, it is more about me and my thoughts, dreams, fears, likes, and all the stuff that typically makes up a Blog. I'll be archiving my comic strips as well as posting the cartooning and animation references I've accumulated over the years.

I'll be posting my thoughts on movies, books, geek culture, animation, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

Hell, I might even throw a cartoon or two up on the front page as well. At least when the fancy strikes me.

Hopefully you will find this Blog informative as well as entertaining and will decide to stop by my little corner of the web from time to time to catch up with an old friend. =)

Yay! Inktank is back. Or... well... sort of... Too bad that you might no longer find the time to draw the comic on a regular base. But then again - hey :-) You seem to have a happy family-life now. And although I am born in 1975, too, I can't say that I managed to gain the same, so who am I to complain?

Barry, the best wishes from Germany for your new start. I really hope things will work out fine for you. And you can be sure that I am looking forward the funny and the strange stories that might happen in your new job to you.

Best regards,
NC

Damn you foul villian!!! Heh, just kidding. Glad to see that you're not abandonding the soapbox. I've enjoyed AT through the years, but your commentary has proved to be quite interesting as well. I do hope you keep up the recommended links though, there were some great finds there. Best of luck with the "new and expanded" family :), my seconds due by Thanksgiving.

Just like to say welcome back and thank you. Yer comics have been something of a solace to me over hte past couple years, and I find myself in need of such more now than I did when I first found the place.

No worries, I'm not psychotic, just going to Iraq soon and did something personally devastating... but such is the power of love.

Welcome back, and may life always be good to you.

Must you defrag every movie theater? Joke was the funniest joke I've ever seen in my life, and it's just too bad that the creator of that joke is no longer drawing :(

Oh, well, I'll still check your site everyday along with all other webcomics, I'm sure your blogs will be as fun to read as your comics.

Good luck with your life, and may your child grow peaceful and happy.

AT has kept me laughing for many years now. I have a couple of your compics on my wall at work to warn people about disturbing the IT guy.

Are you going to keep the archives up at all? I do so enjoy browsing through them every so often and revisiting some of my favorites.

Ah, so there you are. Well we hope to see you in the forums from time to time and maybe even on Frostwolf occassionally. Thanks for the comics and may you find your dreams.

Once my kid is born, I don't plan on talking to anyone online for a good six months, because I already have other things I should be doing. :)

Much as I'll miss your drawings, I'm glad your life is going so well. Starting a family is the scariest thing I've done so far, and I think the most significant as well. Combine that with a (positive) career move and I don't know when you sleep. :)

I'll see you on the forums!

Glad to see you bloging.

I have a 4 month old little boy, and love seeing other people's baby photos. Would love to see more of your wee little one.

All the best,

Thanks for the comics, I will miss them. As much as I hate the choice, I believe you made the right one. Good luck for the rest of you, and your family's, lives. Adios.

Darn...

AT was the first webcomic I ever got into, and it's loss will be felt...

However it'd too selfish for all of us not to give you our very best wishes.

Good luck mate, and pray you'll never need it.

=)

Pain and anguish. Such loss. Well, its not too terrible a loss, as we still have the mind behind such enjoyable time...usage...thingys. *ahem*
May your brain be fervorish and in tune with your hand so that you are unable to stay away from AT toons for too long! I curse thee! HAHAHAHAHA!!

On a serious note, your comics have provided much entertainment and a fortress from the evil forces of boredom at work. I wish you all the best!
And I will be checking in quite often....Peace!

The comic will be horribly missed. I loved reading it for the years it was available and am glad to see someone with the strength to move on to bigger and better things. Still miss Dante, though.

Oh. Don't mind the name, it's a knitting thing. :)

I HAVE NO "ANGST TECHNOLOGY!!!!"

*sob*

Barry, I understand that you gotta do what you feel is best for you and your family (cute kid, btw), but could you at least look into getting the AT strips published into a hardcopy? All the other cool strips are doing it. ;) I'd gladly pay for an Angst Technology Big Book Of Teh Funneh.

Thanks, and good luck.

The Rob.

I wish you well in your endeavors and hope that you put all your strips on an archive. They are amusing and worthwhile to go read at times. Hugh doing karaoke, Wraith teaching others about paintball, um...the 2 comic guys. Please put them up somewhere. We'd appreciate it. Good luck with your life, your wife, and your child. Being a father is something I look forward to one day. I hope to be able to get some tips from you here.

Get a job at Pixar. Push for Angst Technology the Movie. It can have CG characters voiced by the biggest Hollywood names, a huge name-marquee poster, a movie trailer narrated by a very deep man's voice...and you could probably even convince George Lucas to take personal direction of Webmonkey, to make the feature kid-friendly.

Good comics while they lasted. Bouyed my sense of humor during PC/LAN Support classes. Then again, so did contraband videos of skateboarder accidents.

A remark from Denmark: thanks for Angst Technology while it lasted. It was a source of a lot of laughs this side of the world.

I am sad to not be able to read more AT. It has provided motivation and inspiration for me to write my own comics. I thank you Barry, and good luck with everything!

Farewells to Angst, and Weak-End Warriors, and Sorry, We're Open? It's taken me a while to realize they were really gone and not just on vacation for a few weeks, as happens with so many web comics. I suspect I've come late to the party and missed some earlier comments warning of the end, but let me add my good wishes for your future endeavors. Your strips gave me much pleasure, and I'll miss them.
