Karaoke Star
Yes, Hugh has once again taken to the stage in his indomitable mondegreen fashion. For those who are curious, the songs Hugh is “paying tribute” to are:
“Nine Million Bicycles” by Katie Muela
“Hustlin’” by Rick Ross (though I much prefer this mashup version (.mp3) by djBC)
and uh… “We Are Rockstars” by Does It Offend You, Yeah?

Absolutely love Toon Barry’s Expression here. I mirror his sentiment about Hugh every time Hugh does karaoke. *lol*

I was wondering when we’d ever see another one of these ‘Magic Moments’. Thanks Barry, has made my morning.

Brilliant
I was laughing out loud at those last 2 panels

Have you thought about tagging the strips so that we could see all strips featuring certain cast members?

Actually, I will eventually. First step, titling all the strips. Then tagging who is in and what they are about (Dante, Karaoke, City of Heroes, etc.) BUT … it’s all time dependent. I’ll do what I can, when I can. But hopefully soon.

Mashup may have to become a theme song for my Random Question interviews with poker players. (Not spam, just reference: http://www.lifesabluff.com/random-questions) Tell me that ain’t perfect?
If you aren’t a fan, you might not get this…but the Canseco line is perfect.

Yea, I love djBCs work. Being a child of the 70s, 80s and 90s having it all mashed together (and with quality production values) is just great. I have a few of his mashups I’m weighing for podcast openings of my own.

You could have us tag them, if possible. Everyone do a few strips apiece and it would be done in no time.

Maybe make use of http://www.ohnorobot.com/ ?

Most of this data is already noted for WordOwl.com except that until the issue gets resolved where there are date clashes I can’t re add them. Could even pull a tag list for you, Barry.
(Specifically, there are certain days in 2001 and later where there were two strips. ComicPress can’t handle that.)
